Etiquette Tests Are Carried Out In The English Cafe

Tea Cosy Rooms café has passed for the most terrible
institution in the neighborhood in the English city of Brighton. Its
owner was nicknamed a Fascist and one should follow a number of strict
rules established by the host in order to have a cup of a drink and not
to be ignominiously given the heave-ho therewith.

David Daly, the
owner of the tearoom, cherishes the prestige of his institution as the
apple of his eye; he is notable for a rather tough temper at that. Some
visitors who “dared” to plunge their cookies into the cup of tea or to
put their elbows on the table had time to become convinced of this
already. They were turned out from the café for all these “obscene
deeds” with the subsequent advice to follow etiquette rules next time.

Among
the other rules that were established by David Daly there are the
following ones: not to offend the Queen, not to pass lumps of sugar to
each other and not to sip tea from a teaspoon. It is also forbidden to
speak on the mobile phone and to talk in a loud voice and it is
prohibited to talk at all while one is playing the piano in the café.

“People
should follow the rules. If they don’t, they are obliged to leave the
café. We offer a real art of tea drinking, but not just mugs of coffee
as in an ordinary dive”, - the 30-year-old owner of the tearoom
explained.

Open A Cafe

If you dream of that cozy little café on the corner
enticing visitors to come inside, it may not be as far as you think.
Making the decision to open a café is not an overnight choice. A lot of
thought and planning must go into any business undertaking. Mapping out
a complete and thorough business plan is always your first action.

A
business plan will allow for a greater description of your café. If
there is a certain theme or style you wish to apply to the café it will
need to be expressed in as much detail as possible. Investors and
business partners want to see that you have clearly thought out all
aspects and possess a strong vision. The choice to purchase or lease
your structure will come in here as well. There are pros and cons to
each so you need to know what will be most beneficial to your
situation. A lease is often easier to obtain and does not leave you
with a building to sell if the café isn’t successful.

When
selecting your location, choices should be based on your chosen target
market. For example, some may open a café on the side of the highway
because their chosen consumer is the travellers and truck drivers.
Alternatively, you will also find cafes in quiet neighborhoods where
they are accessible by foot as well as car. Location plays a huge role
in deciding who will walk through your door with money in hand.

You
want to be careful when planning your menu that you are as original as
possible. A pre-baked donut can be purchased anywhere but home baked
goods fresh from the oven may have an advantage. These are things you
need to take into consideration when planning. When you are ready to
open a café, effective preparation and planning will carry you through.

Raw Food Cafes - Experience Healthy Delicious Food at Raw Food Cafes

Raw Food Cafes

Raw food cafes
have increased in number over the past 10 years, as more people seek
healthier diets and lifestyles. Raw food cafes serve no cooked foods.
Instead, they serve an assortment of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds,
and sprouted grains—including raw desserts, raw pizza, raw “lasagna”
and more. Surprisingly, raw food tastes good—and best of all, it’s good
for you. Currently there are 95 raw food cafes & restaurants
worldwide—however, this number also includes a handful of vegetarian
cafes that are partially raw (restaurants that serve both cooked and
raw food selections).

Raw Food Cafe Food Preparation

Raw
food cafes use several tools to prepare food for customers: a food
processor, a high-powered blender, juicers, and variable-temperature
dehydrators, among others. Absolutely no microwaves, ovens, or stoves
are used. This is done to preserve the live enzymes presents in all raw
food. Live enzymes are destroyed when food is cooked beyond 114 degrees
Fahrenheit.

Popular Raw Food Cafes & Raw Food Chefs

The
raw food trend has picked up steam in recent months, spawning “gourmet
raw food chefs” and raw food cooking schools. Even classic chefs are
visiting raw food restaurants to discover a cuisine that offers
surprising diversity, flavor and texture. Some of the more well-known
raw food cafes include Café Gratitude in San Francisco, which serves
tasty raw food and strives to encourage abundant thinking and
gratitude. Other well-known raw food cafes include Tree of Life Café in
Arizona, Café La Vie in Santa Cruz, Go Raw Café in Las Vegas, and
Karyn’s Fresh Corner Café in Chicago.
